Future Shredding Volunteers
Saturday, April, 4th 2020
We were there at the Second Harvest Foodbank of Orange County, Popup Pantry food Distribution to help pass out and donate our time. We were put on the parking control team and we were officially tasked with the title of “trunk” engineer. We had 8 lanes and each lane had the ability to service 5 cars at once, for a grand total of 40 cars. We were able to provide each car with a grocery bag of perishables, a bag of potatoes, a bag of apples and a tray of sweet Hawaiian rolls. This was an amazing experience and by the end, we were able to feed approximately 4,000 households. The wonderful, THE HABIT was there to feed us at the end.
We are all in this together and this was just one small way we are helping.
